[about me]
Caitlin is the Employer Relations and Career Events Coordinator for the Career and Counseling Services Office at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. As the Employer Relations Coordinator, she assists employers, recruiters and companies in connecting with UHCL students and alumni to fill their recruitment needs. Caitlin also plans and coordinates all events within the Office of Career Services, including job fairs, employer spotlights and networking receptions.
Caitlin is currently enrolled in the graduate industrial/organization psychology program at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and graduated from Texas State University in December of 2009 with a degree in public relations. While at Texas State, Caitlin developed her passion in working with students in a higher education setting. She worked and volunteered in several programs helping to facilitate the success of the transition and retention of students into the university.
Caitlin's second passion lies in building personal brands online. She knows the value, effect and significance a strong online presence can bring to anyone. A positive online presence can lend a helping hand in finding a new career, finding the best candidate for an open position within an organization, finding new clientele and reaching out to the global market.
